4 million red noses failed to cure en-route making them unsaleable & un-replaceable. This presented Sainsbury’s with a time critical issue due to the pending launch date of “Red Nose Day.” Sainsburys approached us to research a possible solution to the problem.
To undertake various trials to identify a solution to save the noses.
Creation of project team to implement & undertake task in hand.
Acquire & install 50 ovens and contract packing line running 24/7 to achieve the desired timeline. Baked each unit for 2.5 hours-verified by ITS & repack each individual nose in time.
2.5 million noses baked and packed in the specified time frame.
Remaining noses sold for recycling.
